You could also take hexoatl if you want since it's a strong province, but it delays taking out the DEs north and makes life harder, plus exposed your southern side and takes army focus away from more quickly killing the DEs. You can have all of naggaroth and ulthuan by turn 50 with minimal effort, then you can decide if you want to take lustria or brettonia or Araby or whatever after that. Ignore the minor HE factions or kill them with your confederated LL, with the potential exception of caledor/imrik but totally not needed. Then go north and take all of naggaroth while simultaneously confederating LL factions Tyrion alarielle eltharion teclis. Nap/ta/ma hexoatl and he forms a nice barrier on the south so you never have to worry about anything attacking from there and can shift your focus north. AA + 9-10 swalkers and 9-10 swarriors is your final army, it works all the way to end game and you never need to change it, with the potential exception you might want one siege unit or a hero with damage walls so you can take walled settlements without waiting to build siege equipment.Īfter that demolish the shadow recruit building and all your other armies should be led by LL with typical spear/archer combo early game, later you can upgrade to higher tier units and eventually get dragons.Īfter taking your starting province and filling your army immediately go for morathi cause she is a pain and spreads corruption and kills the donut, so it helps everyone if she's gone, plus her province is amazing for you to hold. Also the ones that take 2 turns to recruit have might higher "power" for auto resolve and confederation calculations, so you need them early. ![]() I used a mix of shadow warriors and walkers in AA army because the poison is nice, but doesn't stack, so all poison is useless. I loosely followed this guide for early game confedsīasically you build up your army and take your starting province, then confed someone. ![]() Here's one I didn't see mentioned that I used on VH/vh that worked great. There are lots of ways to do it as you can see from the responses. If you decide to do this you have to make sure to get a non agression pact with mazdamundi since you really dont want to deal with added pressure form the south. Personally i usually rush her after recruiting a full stack of shadow walker which usually works fine but you will have endless recvolting. Be aware though that morathi will follow soon when not oposed by alith anar. But an early migration can still be beneficial if you face to much heat. Skyrmish arround the enemy, having multiple squads is beneficial since one can shoot in the back of the enemy while the other runs away.ģ/thats an option but the donut is only orange territory for the most part. See where i am going with this? Kill everything faster than you first, then all enemy missiles. They stalk and have poison arrows, which slows enemies down. Just keep in mind that shadow walkers take 2 turns to recruit which can be a problem but i really like them.Ģ/shadow walkers are fast and you can make them even faster. Think we missed one?
